When you purchase one of our scarves, you may notice a small opening on the side. This feature, known as a “turning hole,” is an essential part of the sewing process and serves a specific purpose:

• Purpose of the Turning Hole: The turning hole allows our artisans to flip the scarf inside out after it has been sewn.  The turning hole can  be seen at inspection. While it might seem like an imperfection, it’s a crucial part of the construction method for many sewn items, including scarves. Within the thousands of scarves we have sold we can assure that the point is not structurally an issue if just left alone. 

Product dimensions are approximately 35” L × 2.25” W.
